John Kenny BA LLM (Sydney) LLM (London)

John Kenny has practised as a Solicitor since 1976. John concentrates on matters of intellectual property, business law and issues relating to the music industry. John is interested in all aspects of start up business, and the development of models for such businesses.

Ellen Moorhead LLB (hons) LLM

Ellen concentrates in the fields of corporate structuring, shareholder agreements and commercial and IT agreements. She completed a masters degree in 2002, during which she analyzed the unique corporate structuring requirements of small-to-medium enterprises whose businesses generate and are built on intellectual property assets. Ellen has a keen interest in the music industry, is involved in industry groups such as Q Music and volunteers at the Arts Law Centre of Queensland.

Ben Thorn LLB(hons) BA GDipLegPrac (Griffith)

Ben works with John on commercial matters including corporate structure and intellectual property governance and commercial litigation. He also has an interest in Japanese language and culture and participated in a one month legal internship in Ageo, Japan in 2004. Also a musician, Ben plays in his own band and was part of two high school orchestra tours to Sydney/Canberra in 1998 and the UK in 2000 - where he performed at the Service to mark the Centenary of Australian Federation at Westminster Abbey. Ben was admitted to practice in 2006.
